What happens in case of bad weather?
If the weather prevents sailing, we recommend postponing your reservation and choosing a new date. If rescheduling isn’t possible, you may request a full refund. The Rapita Charter team will determine cancellations due to bad weather.
Is fuel included in the rental price?
Yes, fuel is included in the rental price for all boats. The boat has a 20L tank, which lasts approximately 4-5 hours of engine use. If you plan to use the motor for a longer period, you can refuel at your own expense—we’ll guide you through the process.
Do I need a boating license to rent this boat?
Anyone over 18 can drive it. Disfrutona does not require a license
Do I have enough experience to rent this boat?
No prior experience is required to rent La Disfrutona – it’s incredibly easy to handle! In fact, for many of our clients, it’s their first time. No worries, I always take the time to explain everything: how the boat works, the recommended routes, and even go for a short practice session outside the harbor if needed. I’ll teach you how to anchor and make sure you feel comfortable before you head off to enjoy your day. 😊
Am I insured in case of any problems with the boat at sea?
All boats and passengers are insured. If the boat sustains any damage during the trip, the boat’s insurance will cover up to a certain amount, and the rest will be deducted from your security deposit.
Do I have to Leave a Deposit?
Yes, a €300 deposit is required, which can be paid in cash, by card, Bizum, or PayPal. It will be refunded once we confirm that the boat is in good condition.
What does the deposit cover?
The deposit ensures that the boat is returned in the same condition as when it was rented. If there are any damages, missing equipment, or excessive dirt, the deposit will be used to cover the costs. If the damage exceeds the deposit amount, our insurance will cover the rest, but the deposit will not be refunded.
To avoid any misunderstandings, you are welcome to take a video of the boat before departure. Of course, if any mechanical issues or problems arise that are not your responsibility, you will not be held liable.
What routes can I take?
All boats depart from Sa Rápita port. By law, unlicensed boats cannot go more than 5 miles from the departure port, nor can they be used at night or in bad weather. Fortunately, Sa Rápita is perfectly located between two stunning areas.
Heading to port (left), you can reach Es Carbó, while heading to starboard (right), you can sail up to Cala Pi. Our team will recommend the best route based on the weather conditions on the day of your trip.
What is the reservation and cancellation process?
Reservation:
- To make a reservation, you can either pay the full amount or a 20% deposit.
Cancellation:
- To cancel your reservation, you must do so through the website.
- If you cancel up to 1 day (24 hours) before your scheduled arrival, you will receive a full refund.
- If you do not cancel prior to the 24-hour mark, you will be required to pay the total amount of the reservation.
